Hold Down Clamp Assembly Catcher

Hold Down Clamp Assembly Catcher

Robust, zinc plated steel clamp that secures the catcher (abrasive waterjet sump) to the machine frame, stopping tank creep during rapid X-Y moves and absorbing start-up vibration. A slotted base slides over the locator studs for quick alignment, while the forged hold down bolt and captive washer deliver uniform preload without distorting the fiberglass catcher walls. Replace any clamp that’s bent, corroded, or no longer torques smoothly to keep the catcher sealed tight against the splash deck and to prevent nozzle to table misalignment.

Related Products:

  • Top Clamp Plate, Steel Zinc Plated (A-2582) — spans the clamp body and compresses the cushioning insert around HP tubing.
  • Silicone O-Ring Lubricant (A-4688) — smear a thin film on the clamp bolt threads so preload stays accurate and corrosion-free.
  • Water-Proof Grease 14 oz (A-4411) — apply to the hold-down washer face to prevent galling and ensure smooth torque-up.
  • ¼″ 60K Whip Assembly (020269-1) — flexible HP lead often routed through the clamp set; inspect for cone wear whenever changing the hold-down.

Service tip: torque each clamp to the OEM spec after any catcher removal, and re-check bolt tension weekly. Secure clamps minimize deck flex, prevent abrasive leakage, and keep cut accuracy tight across the entire table.
