Vacuum Assist Carbide Liner
Hard tungsten carbide sleeve that drops inside Flow’s Vacuum Assist module to take the abrasive beating instead of the aluminum/stainless housing. The liner’s erosion resistant wall keeps garnet from chewing the assist body, so brittle/composite pierces stay clean and clog‑free. Replace it whenever you see grooving or edge chipping during a head rebuild.
Use with:
- Vacuum Assist Assembly DWJ (712505‑1 this liner is its wear core)
- Vacuum Assist Kit (043950‑1 / ‑2 / ‑3 includes seals and hardware; swap the liner at the same time)
Service tip: Treat the liner as a low cost consumable. Install a fresh 714251‑2 whenever you change orifices/mixing tubes or notice vacuum performance dropping. This protects the assist body and maintains reliable abrasive draw on every pierce
