87K Swivel Seal Ring

A single piece, high density PTFE hoop that forms the primary high pressure seal inside Flow’s 87,000 psi swivel assemblies. Seated between the polished swivel shaft and the stainless body, it flexes radially under pressure to block leaks while its low friction surface lets the cutting head rotate freely without glazing or galling at full line load. 

Compatible Flow® components:

• 87 K 1/4″ 10 Degree Single Axis Swivel Assembly (049358‑1) 
• 87 K 1/4″ 90 Degree Dual Axis Swivel Assembly (014922‑1)
• 87 K 1/4″ Anti Vibration Gland (044347‑1) — clamps the tube’s cone against the seal ring. 
• 87 K 1/4″ Anti Vibration Collar (044348‑1) — locks the gland and damps vibration. 
• 87 K 1/4″ Anti Vibration Collet (044358‑1) — secures the mixing tube; relies on a leak‑free swivel seal.

Service tip: Install a fresh seal ring at every swivel rebuild (~1 000 h) or at the first sign of weepage. Pair it with new glands and collars to keep the 87 K circuit leak free and your cutting head rotating smoothly.
