2-Piece Coupling With Keyway
2-Piece Coupling With Keyway
Designed to transmit rotational force between aligned shafts in compatible Flow waterjet pump drive assemblies. Its split-clamp construction allows the coupling to be installed or removed without sliding it over the end of the shaft, simplifying service in confined equipment areas. The machined keyway provides positive torque transfer and helps prevent slippage under changing pump loads, while the two-piece design distributes clamping pressure around the shaft for a secure mechanical connection.
Related products:

- Spline Shaft Coupling (A-2238) — transfers rotational force through a splined connection in compatible Flow pump drive systems.
- Shaft Coupling with Flange and Keyway (A-4261) — combines a keyed shaft connection with a flange-style mounting interface.
- Shaft Coupling 2 3/8 Inch to 4.8 Inch with Keyway (A-19545-1) — provides a keyed coupling option for compatible larger shaft and drive configurations.
- Flexible Shaft Coupling 4 Inch by 13 Inch (A-10741) — accommodates limited vibration and alignment variation while transmitting power between compatible shafts.
Installation note: Lock out the pump and motor before servicing the drive assembly. Inspect the shafts and key for fretting, deformation, corrosion, or excessive wear, and verify shaft alignment before tightening the coupling. Tighten the clamp fasteners evenly to the specified torque to avoid coupling distortion and uneven shaft loading.
