60K Swivel Assembly
60K Swivel Assembly
An OEM Flow cutting-head swivel designed for 60,000 psi high-pressure waterjet applications. It allows the cutting head or connected high-pressure line to rotate while maintaining a sealed water path, helping reduce hose twist, fitting stress, and premature fatigue in dynamic cutting setups. This assembly is commonly used where controlled head movement or line rotation is required without compromising pressure integrity.
Individual components used in this product:
- 60K Swivel Body Single Axis (C-5500-1) — forms the main housing for the single-axis swivel assembly.
- Water Proof Grease 14 oz (A-4411) — supports smooth assembly and protects serviced components from washout and corrosion.
- Hexagon Retainer Assembly (011003-1)
- 60K 1/4 Inch Gland (A-2866) x2 — secures compatible 1/4 inch high-pressure tubing into the swivel port.
- 60K Swivel Thrust Bearing Washer 1/4 Inch ID (A-3823) x2 — supports smooth rotation and helps carry axial load in the swivel stack.
- Thrust Bearing (A-3822) — helps the swivel rotate freely under load during cutting-head movement.
- 60K Collar 1/4 Inch (A-2867) x2 — locks the 1/4 inch gland in place and helps prevent vibration-related loosening.
- 60K Swivel Seal Ring (B-1790-1) — provides a key sealing surface between the shaft and swivel body.
- 70 Durometer Black Nitrile O-Ring (A-0275-007) — replaces the small Buna-N O-ring used in the swivel seal stack.
- Swivel Seal 1/4 Inch (011004-1) — restores the dynamic sealing surface inside the 1/4 inch swivel.
- Back-Up Ring Swivel 1/4 Inch (B-5492-1) — supports the swivel seal and helps prevent extrusion under pressure.
- 1/4 Inch Swivel Seal (B-5493-2) — a sealing component used to refresh the swivel’s internal high-pressure seal stack.
- 60K Swivel Shaft (B-5491-1) — carries the high-pressure water stream through the rotating swivel assembly.
- Silicone Dipped High Resiliency O-Ring (B-8075-009) — provides high-resilience sealing support in the swivel repair stack.
Service tip: Inspect the shaft, seal ring, bearings, tubing cones, and high-pressure fittings whenever the swivel is removed. Replacing worn sealing and rotating components together helps prevent side leakage, binding, and vibration-related fitting damage.
