60K Pump Bleed Down Valve Assembly
60K Pump Bleed Down Valve Assembly
A critical safety and control component in Flow’s 60,000 psi intensifier pump systems. During shutdown or idle periods, it enables controlled depressurization by venting residual fluid, protecting downstream plumbing and components from sudden pressure spikes.
Individual Products used in this Assembly:
- Bleed-down Valve Piston Insert (B-8426-1) — fits the piston-side section of the bleed-down valve assembly.
- Bleed-down Valve Piston (B-8428-1) — actuates the bleed-down valve mechanism during pressure release.
- 60K Bleed-down Valve Actuator Housing (B-8427-1)
- Bushing Reducer (A-0635-9)
- Connector (A-0636-6)
- 60K Bleed-down Valve High-pressure Body Assembly (001822-1) — replaces the high-pressure body section used in legacy 60K pump bleed-down valve configurations.
- 60K Adapter 3/8 Inch by 3/4-16 (B-5975-1)
- 60K Bleed-down Valve High-pressure Seat (B-5703-1) — creates the sealing surface for controlled bleed-down valve shutoff.
- 60K Bleed-down Valve High-pressure Stem (B-5702-1) — works with the seat to open and close the high-pressure bleed-down path.
- 60K Bleed-down Valve High-pressure Seal (B-5701-2) — seals the high-pressure side of the bleed-down valve during operation.
- 60K Bleed-down Valve Cone Seal (B-5723-1) — helps maintain high-pressure sealing integrity in the bleed-down valve assembly.
- 60K Bleed-down Valve Poppet Sleeve Bushing (B-5700-1) — supports and guides the poppet during repeated valve cycling.
- Bleed-down Valve Oil Seal (A-4241)
- 3/8 Inch High-pressure Collar (B-5078-1)
- Blue Lubricant 2 Ounce (A-2185) — supports proper installation and future serviceability of threaded high-pressure components.
- O-ring (A-0276-114)
- O-ring (A-0275-114)
- O-ring (A-0290-008)

Service note: When installing or servicing the bleed-down valve assembly, always follow the lubricant and torque specifications provided by Flow. Regularly inspect seals and seats for wear, especially after high-cycle use, and replace them using the OEM repair kit to maintain safe depressurization performance.

The OEM Difference
